Future Ready Club is an online digital venture based in the United Kingdom, providing learning resources and practical tools to help women build income, confidence and career opportunities.

Information we collect and why

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:

• Enquiries: your name, email address and messages, so we can respond. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or taking steps at your request before a contract.
• Purchases: contact details, order information and payment status, so we can deliver purchases and provide support. Our lawful basis is performing our contract with you.
• Financial records: transaction information needed for accounting and tax obligations. Our lawful basis is compliance with legal obligations.
• Email subscriptions: your email address and preferences, so we can send updates you have requested. Our lawful basis is consent, which you can withdraw using the unsubscribe link.
• Website security: technical information such as IP addresses and server logs, where collected by our hosting services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure.
• Quiz responses: the AI Career Risk Checker calculates your result in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us or stored by us.

Information required to fulfil an order must be provided for us to deliver your purchase. Newsletter subscriptions are optional.

Your Portfolio Career Canvas

Your Canvas entries are stored in your own browser on your device. They are not sent to our servers, Future Ready Club cannot access them, and they are not shared with any AI provider. Nothing you write leaves your device unless you choose to copy your link.

Your entries remain in that browser until you delete them. You can remove them at any time by clearing your entries in the Canvas or clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. Entries saved in one browser will not appear on another device.

Please avoid entering confidential employer, client or sensitive personal information into the Canvas.

Services we use

We use external services to operate the website and deliver our offers. These include, where relevant:

• Netlify: website and Canvas hosting. Privacy notice

We share information only as needed for the relevant service, professional advice or legal obligations. Some providers process information independently under their own privacy notices.

Cookies and embedded content

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate features and remember preferences.

• Browser storage (Future Ready Club): used to keep your Canvas entries on your device. It stays until you delete it and is never sent to us.
• YouTube (Google): embedded videos may set cookies to play the video, measure views and remember preferences. Durations are set by Google and are described in its privacy notice.
• Payhip and Substack: set their own cookies when you visit their pages to buy or subscribe.

Where consent is required for optional tracking or embedded content, we ask before activating it. You can change your choices through your browser settings, where you can block or delete cookies and site data at any time.

International processing

Some providers may process information outside the UK.

Netlify, Substack, Google (YouTube) and some payment providers are based in the United States. Where information is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by UK adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or by approved contractual safeguards such as the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. How long we keep information

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described above.

• Enquiries and support messages: up to two years after our last contact with you.
• Purchase and accounting records: six years from the end of the financial year they relate to.
• Newsletter details: until you unsubscribe, with a minimal suppression record where needed to respect your choice.
• Canvas entries and quiz responses: not held by us. Canvas entries stay in your browser until you delete them. Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider in line with its own retention periods.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict its use, object to processing or receive a portable copy. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing that took place beforehand.
